Integra LifeSciences Announces In-Kind Donation of Over $1 Million in Medical Instruments to Direct Relief International

PLAINSBORO, N.J., Feb 18, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq:IART) completed an in-kind donation of over $1 million worth of medical instruments and devices to Direct Relief International, a non-profit, non-sectarian humanitarian assistance organization.

"It is a wonderful, enabling contribution that will translate directly and immediately into improved care for patients in very high-need areas."

The Integra surgical instruments and equipment will be sent to hospitals and clinics Direct Relief supports, to be used in their surgical suites, or out-patient dental or burn units.
