Integra Foundation Awards Grant to American Association of Neurological Surgeons
PLAINSBORO, N.J., Aug 28, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- The Integra Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Integra LifeSciences Corporation (Nasdaq:IART), announced today that it has awarded a $25,000 grant to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), in support of the XIV World Congress of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS). The Congress is being hosted by the AANS and an estimated 2,700 attendees from more than 80 countries are expected to attend. This premier international neurosurgical meeting is taking place at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, August 30-September 4, 2009, but officially opens to the media on Monday, August 31.

The Congress focuses on the latest research and technological advances in the field of international neurosurgery.
